A special “Thank you” to our special guests! Today, Gina Krupsky @ginakdesigns and Aditi Mahajan @addi.mahajan are joining us to share their voices and creativity to support our mission.

I created two cards today, because I thought the messages were great.

The first card was unplanned from the beginning – I had no idea what I would do or how. I just knew I wanted to use the large sentiment stamp from Simon Hurley.

I started with a 4.25×5.5″ panel of white card stock and stamped the large sentiment in Concord and 9th black ink. Next, I used the Fantasy Butterflies Simon Says Stamp 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the panel. Then I used a Tim Holtz Brayer and PinkFresh Soft Lilac and Lavender inks to color the butterflies. However, I didn’t like how it looked on the white background, so I used a Spellbinders Large Blending Brush and the Soft Lilac ink to color the background and trimmed it down. I used another scrap piece of white cardstock that was slightly larger than the butterfly panel, colored the edges by swiping the Soft Lilac ink pad around the edges, added the butterfly panel on top using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive, and adhered that to my white card base. I finished the card off by adding some Trinity Stamps glass baubles.

My second card used some strips of Concord and 9th cardstock that had been sitting on my desk for a few weeks, leftover from another project. I had cut the strips using The Stamp Market Quick Strips dies and adhered the strips to a piece of Altenew double sided adhesive sheets. I didn’t have enough strips to cover an entire card panel, so I adhered it to a piece of white cardstock. I then added that to a card base and trimmed it down to 3.5×5″. Using some foam tape, I adhered a PinkFresh Studio foiled sentiment to the front of the card and used more of the Trinity Stamps glass baubles to finish off the card.

Thank you for taking a look at my cards. I wish you a wonderful day and remind you to please reach out for help if you’re struggling. You are perfect just the way you are, and the world needs you.
